Weird Prayers

by cyberpope 19. January 2010 02:23

Today I want to have a little fun. What is the oddest or most bizarre prayer you have ever made? I think the oddest one for me was 16 plus years ago. I was a poor Bible College student. I worked at a ministry for troubled teens. We had just gotten a bunch of cheerio’s in. I was sitting at a table with a couple of the residents and we were saying how much we would love some bananas. So we deiced to prayer for some. Before the week was over, we got a call from the police in Richmond, Indiana, that a Chiquita banana truck jackknifed. That the company heard there was a boarding school for troubled teens and said we could have the bananas if we could clean them off the highway. So we grabbed the church vans and started bringing them in. Hundreds of boxes of banana’s, we ended up calling the other churches nearby, and shared them with their members.

That is about the oddest thing I have prayed for, and actually got a positive answer on that prayer. Shares your stories of the odd things you ask the Father for. Also let us know the result.
